Why Does the Stretch Film Wrinkle When It is Used?

Why Does the Stretch Film Wrinkle When It is Used?

The tensile film has good self-adhesion, high tensile strength and tear resistance, and can prevent the product from falling during transportation. The wrinkling phenomenon will occur after the application of stretch film for a period of time, which has a great impact on the application effect. However, sometimes PE stretch film will appear wrinkling phenomenon during the use process, which will have a serious impact on the packaging effect.

Why does this happen:

1. The thickness of the stretched film substrate is uneven, and the difference between the thickness and the thickness is too large.

2. The position of the stretched membrane substrate is skewed, resulting in the composite membrane wrinkling, and the degree of wrinkling will also increase with the accumulation of skewness.

3. The tension setting and control of the stretching film is improper, and the tension of each part is not coordinated and matched.

4. The setting of composite pressure of tensile film is improper.

5. The axis between the silicone rubber press roll and the cooling steel roll is not parallel.

6. The surface of the guide roller is not clean, with foreign matters stuck, or the surface of the guide roller is not flat, with pits, scratches, bruises and other phenomena.

The stretch film should be flat and smooth in normal use. If it is wrinkled, it will also hinder the development of its viscosity. The goods packaging is not only ugly and not tight, it will not play the role of protecting the goods. We must take corresponding measures to reasonably and correctly produce PE stretch film.
